About the Scientific Calculator — Free Online Scientific Calculator
Our free online scientific calculator provides a full range of mathematical functions — basic arithmetic, trigonometry (sin, cos, tan and inverses), logarithms (log and ln), square root, powers (x², x³, xʸ), factorial (n!), exponential (eˣ, 10ˣ), absolute value, π, e and reciprocal (1/x). Switch between degree and radian mode. Memory functions (M+, M-, MR, MC) store values between calculations. A history log tracks recent results.
How to Use the Scientific Calculator — Free Online Scientific Calculator

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I calculate sin, cos and tan?
Enter the angle value then click sin, cos or tan. Make sure you have selected the correct mode (Degree or Radian). sin(30°) in degree mode = 0.5.
What is the difference between log and ln?
log = common logarithm (base 10). ln = natural logarithm (base e ≈ 2.71828). log(1000) = 3, ln(e) = 1.
How do memory functions work?
M+ adds current value to memory. M- subtracts. MR recalls. MC clears memory. Current memory value is shown when non-zero.
Can I calculate factorials?
Yes. Enter the number and click n!. Note: 5! = 120. Values above 20 produce very large numbers that may show in scientific notation.
